WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) _ Two brothers who have cycled more than 3,400 miles across the United States are resting in the Triad before finishing their trip at the North Carolina coast.

The Winston-Salem Journal reports the Kyle brothers have cycled and camped their way through 11 states to reach Clemmons. They started in San Francisco in April 7. After  a week of rest and visiting with family in Clemmons, 23-year-old Tyler and 26-year-old Cody will complete their 3,800-mile, cross-country journey in Beaufort in mid-July.

The brothers are filming their experiences in each town for use in a documentary. Cody hopes to parlay the film into a job in documentary work. Tyler is a graphic designer who says the artwork he's seen in various cities on the trip has inspired him.
