Closed-Door Government Meetings Could be Recorded

The state house wants North Carolina's governmental bodies to record many of their closed-door meetings.  The chamber voted Thursday for a bill directing all public bodies to record what went on in private... with some exceptions.  The public and media could receive the recording once the reason for having a private meeting is no longer applicable.  The bill now heads to the senate.
