A Superior Court judge lowered the bond for the girlfriend of the man accused of shooting State Trooper Michael Potts multiple times during a routine traffic stop in Durham in February.

She's 36 weeks pregnant, charged with helping her boyfriend elude police after the shooting. Her attorney argued it was best for both her and her baby to be under house arrest with her family in Vermont.

Her bond was lowered to $25,000 from over $1.5 million.
