Parents of a New Hanover County 6th grader are outraged after they say their son was reprimanded for looking at a catalog with pictures of guns and knives.  The boy's father says he got a call from the school resource officer saying his son was reading a sportsman's catalog on the school bus.  When a teacher overheard students talking about it, she called the principal, who notified the officer.  The assistant superintendent said it's up to each employee to decide what's considered appropriate reading material.
