Former As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis is expected back in court this week to ask for a shorter sentence.
According to reports, his lawyer plans to argue that the rocker deserves "custody credit" for the time he spent on house arrest.
Lambesis pleaded guilty to trying to hire someone to kill his estranged wife back in February. He was under house arrest from June 2013 to this past May, when he was sentenced to six years in prison.
Lambesis' new hearing is scheduled to take place Friday, July 18th in San Diego.
