Soundgarden's digital presence paid tribute to former frontman Chris Cornell, who suddenly passed away last week in an apparent suicide. Their official Facebook page's profile photo and cover photo have been blacked out as a simple and effective gesture of mourning.
The members of Soundgarden have yet to make an official statement and this is their first public acknowledgement.
