Build-A-Bear announced a new app called Build-A-Bae. What is it exactly? According to www.buildabear.com/buildabae, Build-A-Bae is a new matchmaking app to be released in the spring.
As you can imagine, the response has been varied. Many speculate that this is an early April's Fools joke. Perhaps it is a dating app for the the bears. Or maybe it will match you to the perfect bear. Could it really be an app to bring people together, like Match or Bumble? It does seem odd that a company that specializes in bears would make a dating app.
Guess we will find out the real deal on April 1, if it is a joke, or in the spring. Stay tuned...
