Brandon Flowers is doing a little solo work again. The Killers frontman tells "NME" he's recording a follow-up to his first solo album, 2010's Flamingo.
Flowers brought in Haim and Vampire Weekend producer Ariel Rechtshaid this time, and the singer says he's taking him out of his comfort zone. He admits they butted heads at first, but now they're "hitting it off."
Flowers adds that unlike Flamingo, the still-in-the-works album is less influenced by his hometown of Las Vegas. He explains that "there's only a little bit of Vegas in there."
Flowers' new solo effort is expected to hit shelves sometime next year.
