So, I've heard about body shaming, but how about vacation shaming. It’s a real thing. Millions of Americans don't take all their vacation, or vacation at all, because of vacation shaming.
My busy season is summer...and fall...and spring. In fact, the only time of the year I really have downtime is in winter. That's why I go on a cruise every January (or around that time). I have been doing it for several years now and have never had a problem with my company or boss. My girlfriend's work on the other hand is another story. Not sure they ever want her to take vacation...and she's not alone.
