Back in 2009, Taylor Swift starred in a Band Hero commercial with Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, and blink-182's Travis Barker. During a behind-the-scenes interview at the time, Swift declared that all three rock stars were her "musical heroes," so she was "kind of freaking out."
Cuomo recently chatted with NME, who brought up the commercial. “Taylor Swift was so gracious and everyone fell in love with her when she came in the room and started talking to us. She was just like a natural-born leader," the Weezer frontman recalled about the production.
As for her declaration that he's one of her musical heroes, the publication asked Cuomo if he and Swift have ever discussed collaborating on music. “No, we’ve never talked about that. That never occurred to me. If she ever wants to make a rock album, I’d love to help out!" he said. "I have a feeling that I would get the call from Miley Cyrus first though! [Laughs] That would be very cool.”

Cuomo isn't the only rocker to praise Swift recently. Earlier this month, Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan dubbed Swift as "one of the most gifted pop artists of all time." Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong also revealed he attended The Eras Tour during an off day in France.
"Just saw Taylor Swift eras tour in Lyon France 🇫🇷!! Great production. Great voice . Great entertainer. Great songwriting. Crazy crowd," he wrote on Instagram.
