Head Lice Drug May Be An Effective Treatment for Coronavirus

Researchers are saying they are "cautiously optimistic" about using a head lice drug to treat Covid-19. That phrase means "kinda hopeful" to me and usually triggers my BS meter...we have seen a lot of suggestions lately for curing this virus. But I AM optimistic; I know that there will be a treatment at some point, hopefully sooner than later. In this case, researchers have studied the effect of anti-parasitic drug Ivermectin on the coronavirus. This drug is also sometimes used to treat head lice. Research is still in the early stages so it's too soon to call it a breakthrough. Two preliminary studies have yielded positive results, though. So sit tight at home, stay strong, and good news is on the way. This will not last forever, I can promise you. Love your people, drink your water and be a decent human being. Also, wash your hands.
