What Dr's Say Is Worst To Do With Cold And Flu

The fall not only normally brings beautiful colors for some of us, for others the fall makes us sick...literally.

With the cooler weather, comes sniffles and sneezing. You for sure will run into someone with something you don't want. But what is the worst thing you do when you get that cold/ick of fall?

Neglecting rest - Getting plenty of sleep is even more important when you feel symptoms coming on because the immune system needs extra energy to fight off an infection. If you're on the go all the time, you're bound to get sick. So rest when you have the time off.

"Forgetting" to wash your hands - Did Covid not teach us anything? You still leave the restroom and don't wash your hands? The thing is, germs easily spread from surfaces to hands and then to your face. So WASH YOUR HANDS, and you might avoid getting sick.

Overlooking nutrition and hydration - Put in bad, you'll feel bad. They (your dr) has told you this for years. Not fueling the body with immune-boosting nutrients and getting plenty of water works against you when you’re feeling sick.

Frequently touching your face - This is one of the worst habits for spreading germs, especially if you didn’t wash your hands first. (See above about remembering COVID, not wrong here)

Skipping your vaccines - Maybe this year you don't skip the flu shot you've been avoiding. I don't like them either, and I had a thing about needles in the past. But the real is, the shot now, could help keep you feeling your best when everyone else isn't following any of these tips.

Most of all, listen to what your Dr says. Avoid these things and you'll be feeling your best for the holidays.
